We have just received the new provincial guidelines for opening June 1. Some pretty big changes from the usual Toad Rock standards, where it has always been a very “communal, help yourself” kind of place.

Groups arriving together will be considered a “family” and will need to social distance from campers not in their group.

Our social pavilion will be restricted to ~10 guests only with acceptable social distancing. There will be no communal kitchen or refreshment availability on site. We can keep the toilets and sinks open but the showers and public laundry will not be in use. The cabins will have sheets on the beds, but you will have to bring your own pillows and blankets.

You will also have to bring your own personal protection of masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer. Only you will be responsible for your safety.

If you still think this will work for you, we’d love to see you here.

I know it sucks and hopefully with enough compliance, guidelines will relax as the summer rolls on.

If you already have made a reservation, please contact us asap if this means a change in your plans.

The roads will still be twisty, the sun will be shining, there’ll be campfires, wienies, and laughter, and we’ll all just be making the best of it.

Like a ride in the rain.
